Welcome

My Name is Susie Reandeau and I’m the owner of Susie Reandeau’s Daycare. I care for children 6 weeks and up. I have been in child care since 2004. Before I became a Mother I was a preschool teacher in New York. I took some time off and stayed home with my daughters and then I worked at a local church affiliated preschool for the last four years. I was the 2 year teacher who created the curriculum for the new 2 year old program. I just love working with children and felt it was time to start my own business.

Credentials

I hold an AA degree in Early Childhood education from Merced college in California. I have been credentialed by the Maryland State department of Education, for the past four years. This allows me to keep fresh on my teaching skills and I attend 24 clock hours of educational workshops everyCalendar year. In home day providers are only required 12 clock hours every two years. I am up to date with my CPR and First Aid certifications.I have met the qualifications to be a licensed child care provider License # 157289.

My Philosophy

I will provide a pre-school curriculum with a focus on ABC’s and 123’sAlong with learning shapes and colors. Light Bible stories will be part of our day at circle time. My goal is to provide a safe and happy environment. Children will be taught to respect each other, adults and property. Science, art, math, social and writing skills will be explored on a regular basis. All activities will be done in the learning through play approach.

About me and my family

We are a big happy family!

My husband and I have twin daughters and a younger daughter as well.

My teenage daughter’s and my husband of 20+ years will help out when needed as well. They will be my stand in if I need to leave for an appointment. They have had background checks along with myself. My husband has also spent 6 years in the military as a security police officer.

We also have two dogs and two cats to join in on the fun.
